In Falerna, on 7 October Edoardo Bennato in concert
It will be Edoardo Bennato the protagonist of the next appointment of "Facts of Music 2018", the prestigious Festival of Italian author Live that Sunday, October 7 arrives in the historic center of Falerna, the famous tourist resort of Tirreno Calabrese a few Kilometres from Lamezia Terme, on the occasion of the traditional celebrations of Our Lady of the Rosary. With the great Neapolitan singer-songwriter, Piazza Ugo Floro, which will host the event, is transformed into an authentic Rock Arena. The beginning is set at 21.30, the entrance is free. On the occasion, Edoardo Bennato will receive the Premio Silver Hedgehog of the Festival directed by Ruggero Pegna, made by the famous Crotonese Goldsmith Gerardo Sacco, in the section "Myths of Italian Music". The brilliant Neapolitan singer-songwriter, who has published up to now thirty albums, among those recorded in studio and live, as well as fourteen anthological collections and two soundtracks, arrives on the wave of the timeless success of the new edition of " Wireless puppet, released in November last year. A special edition of the famous pieces of 1977 enriched by the unpublished ' Mastro Geppetto ', a DVD with historical footage, a booklet of 32 pages in which Edoardo Bennato is told. The original pieces were all replayed with the addition of Mastro Geppetto, "Lucignolo" and "that comedian the talking cricket". After many other successful discographic and live adventures, in 2015 he published the new project: "Ready to sail". It's a very rich album of contents: 14 songs in which Bennato photographed, with its characteristic irony, different aspects of our society including politics, family, children, future, love, falsehood without ever forgetting its roots. "Ready to sail" receives the Lunezia prize for musical-literary value. That of Edoardo Bennato is a legendary musical history, rightly rewarded on October 7th in Falerna, in the thirty-second rich edition of the Festival made of music, with the prize to the myths of the author's music.
