Seismic event Ml 4.2 off the Calabrian coast South West 28 September 2018
This morning, at 7:24 Italian on September 28, 2018, was located an earthquake of magnitude ML 4.2, with epicentre off the coast Calabrian south west and resented in the provinces of Reggio Calabria, Catanzaro, Vibo Valenzia and Messina, to a Depth of 11 km.
The event was located in a very high hazard area as shown in the map of seismic hazard of the national territory.
The earthquake was affected in a large area from the Calabrian coast as evidenced by the preliminary map of the resentments elaborated by the approximately 211 questionnaires sent to the site www.haisentitoilterremoto.it updated at 07:57 on 28 September.
