Overwhelmed by an iron door, 69-year-old dies crushed
He was doing some craft work in a shed when he was crushed by the collapse of an iron door. It happened in San Mango D'Aquino, in Catanzaro, where to lose his life in the tragic accident was Franco Chieffallo, 69enne of the place that in the shed had its activity carrying out artistic works, signs and other.
The fact happened in the early afternoon of today, around two o'clock: from what was learned Chieffallo was fixing the door of the structure when the latter would have yielded overwhelming.
To launch the alarm was the wife who, not seeing him return, alerted a neighbor who, in turn, found the 69enne back on the ground. Unnecessary assistance from doctors of 118 and firefighters, intervened on the spot. On the incident are investigating the Carabinieri who will be responsible for rebuilding the dynamics of the tragedy.
